Cedar Creek Camp is located on White Lake, near Shuswap Lake in the North Okanagan area. It is a beautiful 10.2-acre natural, rustic and private setting. We are fond of saying it is a little piece of heaven! The camp is wheelchair accessible, affordable and available for rent from the May long weekend annually through to the October long weekend for day trips and overnight camping.

Individual/Family Rentals:
A current annual Membership in People In Motion is required to rent the camp. Members with disabilities have first priority for reservations from the first day of business following January 1st to April 15th or the 1st day of business thereafter of each year; remaining camp dates are available to all other members after that date.

Group Rentals:
Cedar Creek Camp is available for rental to groups of a maximum size of 30-35. As above, group rentals to disability groups have priority over other groups.

A deposit secures each reservation; 7 days notice of cancellation is required for a refund of the deposit. Upon reserving camping dates, renters are provided with full information about the camp location, rules and regulations, etc.

Camping Fees:
Our Camp Committee and Board of Directors set camp fees annually. All revenues are directed back into camp improvements, which are done primarily by volunteers. Please contact us for the current fee schedule.

Camp amenities include 2 rustic cabins (one with a basic kitchen, propane stove and wood heater), 2 spacious wheelchair accessible outhouse toilets, fire pit, waterfront access, and a dock. Basic equipment is supplied to ensure a pleasant camping experience. The camp does not have running water or electricity.

Day of Caring:
This May, with the help of The United Way's Day of Caring, People In Motion were able to reconstruct a proper dock with the help of Urban Systems. The new dock as well as newly groomed trails have created more accessibility to those in wheelchairs.
