Mother’s Day Brunch

On May 13, 2018 – People In Motion will be holding a ‘Mother’s Day Brunch‘ at Rainbow’s Roost – 6675 Westsyde Road.  Featuring waffles, bacon, pastries, fruit platter and refreshments.  Enjoy friendly encounters with animals and fun activities for children.

Ticket will be sold at People In Motion’s office, and by telephone using a credit card, and if you cannot get to the office, we will deliver the ticket to you, only if you are paying cash.

Tickets are $5 for children 5-12/Seniors (65 and up); $10 for Adults; children under the age of 5 is free.

Affordable Recreation for Community Health – ARCH Program

Affordable Recreation for Community Health – ARCH Program

People In Motion is pleased to announce that we’re now one of the numerous agencies in Kamloops, that’s authorized to approve the Affordable Recreation for Community Health – ARCH program. To qualify for the program you must be a permanent resident of Kamloops and meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Receive Income Assistance from the Ministry of Housing and Social Development.
  • Have an annual income in the previous current year (depending on when applying) that is below the Statistics Canada Low Income Guidelines. See application for details.
  • Receive a Canadian Pension or Long Term Disability that is below the Low Income Guidelines as outlined on the application form.
  • Multi-Pass – a 3-year ARCH pass for Persons with Disabilities on Ministry’s PWD and on CPPDisability – you will need to prove that you are on PWD or CPPDisability.

The new 2017/18 applications and approval letters will be available August 4 at PIM’s office for the program.

Adult Social Club

Adult Social Club

The Adult Social Club meets three times a month and enjoys recreation and social activities around Kamloops such as bowling, attending community events, going to the pub or out for a meal together! You can choose which events you want to attend! Transportation is provided to all events. Monthly fee is $20.00 with additional costs for some events.  This program operates Sept – June.  If you are interested, sign up today!
