Learn to Cook - Learn to Bake

Students in our Learn 2 Cook – Learn 2 Bake class will learn important skills about cooking such as, food prep, kitchen clean up, kitchen safety and proper kitchen hygiene.

Our goal is for students to become more confident in the kitchen environment, gain independence, and learn how to lead a healthier lifestyle by promoting healthy food choices. Life Skills

Life Skills program focuses on expanding the range of typical day to day activities for adults living with disabilities. This goal based interactive program aims to teach while providing an inclusive environment. Curriculum is based off student needs and skill level. These can include the following:

  • Social skill development
  • Money management
  • Speech confidence
  • Reading comprehension
  • Preventing vulnerable engagements

Diverse Designs

Diverse Designs is a art based program that offers a variety of art-based activities, supplies and instruction. Below are some examples of projects student have created in the past:

  • Sculpting
  • Wreath making
  • Paint pouring
  • Resin ornaments
